Oh, I hate it when my car needs repairs! I hate it so much! Hate, hate, hate! Thank goodness my parents have been seeing Randy the mechanic and his crew for almost 20 years now, so I can trust his word that if he says my car needs it, then it needs it. The garage is open 8-5 on weekdays (but closes at 4 most Fridays) and does take walkins. It's not a discount mechanic, but prices aren't astronomical, either. (Says she whose car is in for $800 worth of repairs right now.... AUGH!) The staff is experienced and honest, and I've never had an issue getting a call back immediately when they find a problem or need to make changes to an estimate after discovering more work needs to be done- none of that, oh, here's your bill, and the extra $200 is for some stuff we went ahead and did, you needed it, trust us stuff. The nicest thing, though, is that there is no secretary in the office- so, while you might have trouble getting a call answered during busy hours, that means when they do answer, you're talking to someone who knows cars and can advise you. Same when you get a call back- Randy, the owner, will generally call to give you estimates in person- no run-around games here!
